ASSESSMENT 6
PROJECT A
Read Winnie Verloc's letter to a friend. When in the story does she write it? Answer the letter.

Dearest Clarissa
I am having serious problems with my husband. He doesn’t talk to me and I have the feeling that he’s planning something. But  what? Is he in love with another woman? He often goes abroad suddenly for a number of days and comes back without telling me where he has been. We have a nice house and the shop, and Adolf has always looked after us well. I know that Stevie has learning problems, but he is not a bad boy. Some weeks ago my mother moved out. I feel so lonely without her. Adolf is worried about something. He is talking in his sleep. But he never tells me anything. What should I do? Please write to me as soon as you can.
